Our Sister and Brother’s Keeper Inc, is a nonprofit organization that has a heart for the homeless, the ones who don’t make it into the shelters, the alcoholic who doesn’t want to give up his bottle, the one with mental illness telling their brains not to trust anyone or anything and the ones who have fallen in between the cracks with nobody to notice or care.

Our Sister and Brother’s Keeper, Inc serves the people who live in the Boston Common and surrounding areas, many with nothing but a tarp to call their home. We provide them with women’s and men’s clothing, coats, boots, shoes, hats, scarfs, gloves, socks, underwear, sleeping bags, blankets, yoga mats (to protect them from the cold ground) and a bag lunch to feed their hungry bellies.  “Blessings in a Bag”, are also passed out and are filled with special items, to help keep our friends fed, safe and warm.

Many simply need a human touch, shoulder to cry on or a hug. We believe each person’s life matters and that everyone has a story which deserves to be told and we are grateful they share their stories with us.

The funds we raise are used to provide food for their hungry bellies, clothing to keep them warm and the resources to get them off the streets and into a shelter or recovery.
